I completely agree with your first point. As for your second, I think being
liked by your hosts (and liking them!) IS important, at least it is for me!
I really don't want to pursue this subject any longer. My point was merely
that everyone learning the comp system will make unavoidable mistakes and the
information in the "tripped" article by Tabbycat will help many people to
avoid some of them. Rather than using the term "best" players I should have
used "experienced." Obviously the longer one plays the more "tricks" one
learns. But I still believe that the casino comp system is so complex and so
ever changing that even the most experienced gambler will find out and be
surprised by a new wrinkle that they couldn't even have imagined.
