Wonder if locals can help me with a routing question.
On a Friday midday, going from the Strip in the area of the Aladdin out
to Red Rocks, what is the fastest route to drive?
Also, coming back around 6 p.m. would be the reverse of the same route?

Westbound on Flamingo or Desert Inn will get you to Red Rock pretty
quick. You could also go down to the 215 freeway and take that west
to Red Rock, but there have been some on and off lane reductions
past Sunset Road; otherwise it is freeway all the way.
I can't help you on eatbound at 6:00PM; I avoid driving at that time
due to heavy traffic in my area.

Eastbound, Charleston would probably not be too bad at that time of day -
you'd be going against the heavy flow of traffic.
I wouldn't recommend the 215 during rush hour. It's been a mess every time
I've set wheels on it.
