There have been a couple of threads on getting banned and losing offers
and mailings as of late. Thought I would like to add one comment. I
know on a couple of occasions where it seems particularly sensless
people have been told by hosts that it was the computer program that
decided that and that they agree with all the points that the person in
question was making to them but could not override it. Well I think
some casino's use a computer program to evaluate their slot club
patrons but the program is extremely unsophisticated in how it does
things and how it determines whether you are valuable customer.
Basically if you win two or three times in a row it will ban even video
reel slot customers playing against a 12% vig, lol. I remember once I
was looking on the internet for some gambling related topic and I ended
up on a page meant for casino exec's somehow. Well on there was a
banner ad showing a grubby looking guy in a jetted bathtub in a posh
bathroom having a bubblebath and the caption said "The Casino thinks
that I'm a highroller". When I saw that I couldn't help but wonder, is
this that stupid program that is getting the mail/offers cut on people
that don't deserve it?

There is no substitute for the judgment of a good host.
Almost makes you feel sorry for the poor Caesars' staff that had the
rug pulled out from them when Harrah's and its computers marched in.
Almost.

The problem is that the data comes from the card club system which is
full of bugs. Accounting regulation (coin-in, coin-out) applies to the
machines, the card clubs (personal coin-in, coin-out ...) are very
poorly regulated. Garbage in, garbage out.
