George Maloof owes Coast a big wet sloppy kiss

The deuces progressive at the Palms was usually busy; now it's
constantly full, with people WAITING FOR A SEAT. The Palms was
always rocking on Friday and Saturday nights; now it's jammed. The
restaurants at the Palms are full; the bars are busy; the sportsbook
is packed (even though you can't bet NBA there).

I see faces in there now that I used to see at the Gold Coast; since
the Palms offers everything the Gold Coast used to, it's no big
surprise. All that George Maloof has done is REFUSE to jump on the
screw-the-player bandwagon, and as a result, his casino zooms upward
past Coast, AZC, etc....simply by doing NOTHING! It must be soooo
lovely to, in a competitive business, see your competitors
collectively commit suicide by implementing cusomer alienation
programs.

For those of you who wonder whether Coast is suffering, I can tell
you that about once a week, I go into GC to eat at PPP and burn my
remaining points, and the joint is a TOMB. Last visit was Thursday
night, and I bet there were more people at Holy Cow. The banks of
Little Green Men machines that displaced the FPDW are getting dusty.
What a stupid, stupid management decision to do this!

If anyone wants me to put in a bid at the bankruptcy liquidation
auction, let me know. You just might get a blackjack table real
cheap. Oh, and do you think the former Gold Coast would look better
as a 99 Cent Store, or as a Wal-Mart?

NOTE FOR ALL: CASH IN YOUR COAST CASINOS POINTS!!! There will be a
devaluation very soon as Coast attempts to gather funds for the
SouthCoast casino (rock-throwing distance from my house). Remember,
I warned you.

Kevin,

I've got the same problem at GVR now. Unless I go at 7am, I have to
elbow onto a seat at their Optimum Play. It was not like this until
last month. Also, I've notice Fiesta Henderson's business is picking
up as they add new machines.

I hope that these observations hold. I am not an advantage player (yet), but I can assure you that when I make my trip to LV this MAY, my play will be at the Palms. I have not made my final itinerary as to which casinos I will play, but I can tell you that the list has been reduced significantly thanks to the Coast Management Decisions. Yes, it is a free Country which I love, and it is the right of the Coasts to change their casinos however they want, but IT IS MY RIGHT TO GO WHERE I WANT and it will not be the Coasts Casinos.
