It is just amazing to me the difference in gas prices in the tri-state
area. Friday I noticed regular was selling for $2.89/gallon at the
Mobil station across from the EW. I drove over to Bullhead City and
bought Mobil gas for $2.39/gallon. My truck took 24 gallons, so that
was a $12.00 savings by driving a few miles. I also saw gas at the off
brand places selling for $2.25/gallon. I entered I-40 at Needles, and
saw gas selling for $3.09/gallon. What a difference in the 3 states-
and only a few miles apart.
Gas Prices
Gas was $2.23 at Terrible's in Bullhead this morning.

It was $2.25 on Friday at Terrible's with a line to get in, out to the
highway. Dropping a penny a day at that rate. The cheapest I can find
here in Northern California is $2.69.

I always laugh when people go so far out of there way to usually save
a few dollars. Most people not all then go inside buy soda or coffee
at outrageous prices when they could drive to a local Walmart and save
even more. No they dont do that but they drive halfway across town to
save a few dollars on gas.. Also in regards to gas prices taxes are
higher in Nevada and even higher in California then in Az. For a few
months Nevada had suspended the taxes on gas therefore the gas prcies
were cheaper in Nevada then in Az. Also Arco gas is one of the worst
fuels you can put in your car. Each Company, IE Exxon, Arco, Shell etc
adds additives to there gas making gas more costly at some stores. You
can see the best gas companies to use by going to toptiergas.com.

There's truth to that. I run various Stihl outdoor products, and none of them recommend
Arco. Examples of recommended gas for Stihl are Union and Chevron.
As for gassing up my rental car for the trip back to McCarran I'll drive over to Bullhead to
do that, but only about 1.5 miles to my favorite mini mart/gas station.
