I find it hard to believe that someone put on 1,000,000 points on in 90 days. That would mean putting on 11,111 points on a day. While you might be able to do that for a week, providing you had the bankroll to achieve that, and I'll assume just playing dollar VP or slots. To continue that for 90 days is highly improbable. I even had help with my GF playing my card.
I've put on 47,500 points at the Silverton one day, and almost 300,000 points on in a 13 day trip, and I even had help with my GF playing my card some of the time. But to continue playing at this rate for 90 days doesn't make sense.

Piece of cake for a big player. I can put through 100,000 in a day and up where I play I am a medium not a large player. There are players that can do that in a week never mind 3 months. The thing is players like that are treated like Gods around any smartly run casino. Up here when the big players ask for a comp, it is yessir for how much and how many and sorry to have kept you so long, and please let me phone ahead so you won't have to wait.
Regards
A.P.

The article is faulty. It assumes the player was playing JOB but the original post stated the player was playing nothing but POSITIVE games.
Losing him as a player will be no loss to the casino. It's pretty sad that people play nothing but positive games, grab the freeplay on top of that, guzzle the FREE booze from the casinos and then expect free food on top of that!
Come on people hogs get slaughtered.
Grow up.

I searched the article for the word "positive" and found NONE.

If you read the original post the article was based on you will see that the player was playing positive games plus grabbing free play plus free booze of course-and still complaining.
Come on people get real. If you want a free buffet play the negative machines on the "fabulous Strip" and pay a C note for your "free" meal.

Sorry Mike, the original post never mentioned playing only positive VP games. See for yourself. Go to post #106748, dated 4/20/10.

Prove it to me! Playing a $5 machine at $25 a hand at 600 hands per hour equals 15,000 points per hour. Playing 10 hours would equal 150,000. Double that for a $10 machine and it would = 300,000 points. How many hours do you play before you go broke? And you say you've seen it done? What the hell were they playing? A ten dollar machine with 5x points? Gimmee a break!

Your writing demonstrates clearly that you know how to multiply; what's
strange is that you seem to think it stops working after 6 digits.

Ever seen a $1 100-play machine? That's $500 a whack...
Now lets see you keep playing that machine for 90 days. I guarantee you most couldn't keep playing that for 90 minutes.

If my math is right (and it's probably not)
assuming 1M points = $1M coin-in, then this could be achieved in 2000 "pulls" on a $1 100-play machine.
With an "expected" loss of $2.50 per "pull", with a total "expected" loss of $5000, it's not a hard stretch of the imagination that it could be acheived.
Correct me if I'm wrong, but Harrah's 7* program requires $1M coin-in per year, right? So, those people do it 25% slower than this guy did, yet somehow there are LOOOOOTTTSSS of people in 7* status, so their can't be at least quite a few who could do 7* in 3 months?
(BTW: The math is based on 9/6 JoB, pretty standard game)
P.S.- If it was at least a "decent" club, it would have .05% cash-back, so he would have earned $1667 per month.
P.S.S.- I'm a very low-limit gambler, and I do $5k coin-in per day, every weekend almost (sat/sun). So if I can do $30k in a month, I could easily see someone doing $300k.
Sorry for the long winded post.
I read the original post when it was first put up. The poster plays at Aliante Station, which has FDDW, DB, DDB and Loose Deuces.
All over 100%. As a savvy player I doubt he was playing 8-5 JOB!
Furthermore, in that thread, at post #106768 I responded that he should stop bellyaching because he was "playing nothing but positive machines".
No objection to this fact was made by the original poster.
Put yourself for a moment in the position of the poor host of this insolvent casino as the poster approaches with his hands out for free food, knowing this poster:
1. Plays positive games only.
2. Grabs all the free play he can.
3. If he is anything like me, has swallowed a couple of gallons of your booze over the months he has been making money off you.
Do you, as a host, write out the comp for him-encouraging him to keep taking your money, booze and freeplay?
Or do you curtly tell him he has "nothing coming" and hope he never shows his face again in spite?
I know what I would do.
The sad, harsh and often unfaced fact is that those of us who play positive machines with any precision and are sharpies at the comps/freeplay/welfare check game are NOT welcome customers.
If you value comps above all, play the NEGATIVE games on the "fabulous Strip" and you shall be littered with offers.

I'll conclude the Million in 3 months was on FPJB at Harrah's
As stated prviously Perfect Play is .5% loss = $5K loss. At the best, cashback will compensate for mistakes. But it probably is more like a $10K loss (Alcohol is usually involved :-)).
I hope Harah's is happy to deal to this gambler. The profit usually exceeds expectations.

Come on now. With all the great positivr (FPDW, Loose Deuces, 10/7, DDB in its over 100% incarnation) games at that casino do you think for a minute that a player savvy enough to be a contributor to this group purposely walks past all these positive games to play 7-5 JOB?
Let's try to deal with reality here and not how we WISH the world were.
