Sorry, I haven't read Bob Dancer's new "Million Dollar
VP" book yet.
I was just wondering if Bob and Shirley Dancer, played
FPDW in that short period of time on the way to their
Million Dollar winnings?
If not, which game(s) did they play?

Actually,
By the time Bob AND Shirley started playing together,
I think most of it was probably 9/6 JB, and some NSUD,
both 99.5-99.7 ev games. And usually for $5 and higher,
including 3/5 play machines.
Final wins were on $25 and $100 single line games, however.
2 Royals in one night for $100K and $400K.
The 'advantages' that put them over 100% were the slot club cb,
bonus gifts in December (like Grazie pts or holiday pts),
bonus 'airfare' mileage, and comps.
A chunk of it was at the MGM at the end.
In the 'earlier' days, they are shown at various
promotions at Mirage, Treasure Island, LVHilton, etc.
BEFORE he met Shirley, I think he played FPDW in his .25 days.
He did MENTION that at one time Bally's had FPDW for $25/$100 in
3-coin machines, but those didn't last too long (and he didn't have
the bankroll at the time).
However, he did tackle $25 3-coin 10/7-80SF DB later.
And also $5 Loose Deuces (15-10) earlier.
Both of those games req'd a 'financial partner' for a short time.
Pretty much he mastered many 'promotions' that made games like JB, DB,
and FPDW worth MUCH MORE than their base value.
(usually like $15+/hour opportunities, with many 'ups and downs'
during those times.....but lucky enough to gain the positive returns).
Things like '2x on Nat'l Royals'; bonuses for nat'l 4Ks; etc.

HOW he calculated what games and promos were worth,
AND how he beat them).

PS -I've never asked Shirley (at the classes)
whether or not she ever played FPDW.
I know she had to learn FPJoker's a few times.
She really isn't a 'heavy' player (time-wise).
Bob wrote in the book that some people can play hours and
hours, while others (like Shirley) only enjoy playing vp
for 1-2 hours at a time.
