Gambling With An Edge

The download for last night's Annie Duke interview isn't working on my site --- and my tech guy won't be able to get to it before Monday.

However, on www.richardmunchkin.com the download appears and is listenable now.

The Annie interview went really well. Her discussion of bad beats provides food for thought for video poker players as well.

Next week's guest will be Bob Nersesian --- a lawyer who defends gamblers who have been mistreated by casinos. His book is "Beat the Players." Munchkin did an interview with him 10 years ago --- and that interview is currently posted on his website --- http://www.richardmunchkin.com/2011/08/bob-nersesian-advocate-for-players.html#more

On behalf of your east coast faithfull listeners we hope you follow Frank's practice of promptly putting up the podcasts. --- In vpFREE@yahoogroups.com, Bob Dancer <bobdancervp@...> wrote:

Frank did a lot of technical stuff behind the scenes --- including creating and recording new closings each week and taking care of the podcasts.

My site is run by the people at the Las Vegas Advisor. They work 9-5 Pacific Time, so the download won't be up on my site until Friday mornings at the earliest. And yesterday I was busy all day on another project and didn't check to see that it was put up correctly (it wasn't). Clearly I need to re-priortize and check this before noon every Friday. Several friends sent me private emails saying the podcast wasn't up on the site --- but I wasn't even checking emails on Friday.

The downloads will also go to Munchkin --- who lives in California and will travel to Vegas for the show sometimes and do it by telephone sometimes. He very likely will be posting the podcasts on his site before I can get them up on my site.
