Gambling With an Edge Mar 31st

We'll be having on Stanford Wong & Scot Krause.

If you haven't heard of Mr. Wong you need to.

Also we'll be covering strategy errors and strategy lookup errors. To prepare for this you'll want to download the Show Files for Mar 31st from my site: https://www.progressivevp.com/radio_show.php and have them handy while you're listening.

We're going to be getting more & more interactive. So expect stuff like this in the future.

Our Live Air-Time is: 7 PM Thursday nights on KLAV Talk-Radio 1230am In Las Vegas. You can listen live a: http://www.klav1230am.com/

To CALL in LIVE during the show the Numbers are:
(702) 731-1230 & 1-(866) 820-5528

Scot Krause was really good and talked about several excellent promotions for April.

A correction. The strategy I posted on my site didn't meet with Bob's approval. I'm just not that familiar with his nomenclature. He's fixing it and I'll post it on Monday.

The first three people to pass the test with 100% will get prizes on next weeks show. The goal of the test is to see how well people can read strategy cards. It is not for a real game.

Cheers all,

~FK

Frank, when I Google your name, the first two sites that come up are
https://www.progressivevp.com/about_the_author.php and www.progressivevp.com/.
That's the good news. Norton Internet Security flags these sites with a
gray-question-mark icon, indicating "Security information not available," rather
than a green-OK icon or the yellow-orange circle with a checkmark in it
indicating that, from Norton's perspective, the site is safe to surf.

I thought you might want to take steps to make your site "Norton-friendly." I
certainly don't know what problems Norton is indicating and suppose that they
may be wrong to flag your site, but I imagine some percentage of potential
customers would rather be safe than sorry while clicking away in their browsers.

Thanks for the heads up. I have no anti-virus software on any on my computers because I use Linux and I am not troubled by them.

I'll look into it.

Bob and I can't agree on the team's scrambled strategy test I was going to post as a contest for our next weeks show.

Basically I took an old team test and tried to re-write it in Bob's nomenclature. I apparently failed, so Bob wants no part of it.

I'll be posting it Monday on my radio page in original team nomenclature, which will make it essentially incomprehensible to anyone that hasn't read my book. I'm sorry about this, but Bob's not bugging. I think He's so cute when he's stubborn. Anyway...

I'll still be giving away the show tickets and $100 site credit to the highest score...and I'll post a strategy legend.

Good luck on Monday!

The primary goal with this test is to show you all the kinds of things we required of our trainees 20 years ago.

~FK

The infamous Scrambled Strategy Test is now posted on my site in the Mar 31st section: https://www.progressivevp.com/radio_show.php

Normally this test was given at the end of a week of teaching trainees how to look up holds on a strategy card...but before they had learned any particular strategy for any game.

We required a 90% correct to pass it.

Bob did not want me using his strategy nomenclature for the test, so it's posted in Team Nomenclature. If you are unfamiliar with the team's system the test will be doubly difficult. I included a legend.

It is a great way to know how good you are at using strategy cards and very on topic for vpFREE.

Good Luck and enjoy:)

Dear Frank--thanks for getting the show put up--this time you have done it fast than your co-host has on his website--kudos!!! Will give it a listen with the other Vegas-o-centric podcasts that I seem to be obsessed with :))

There was a typo in the original strategy which I have now fixed. There's a new version on my website.
