Hello -
I'm another "regular" up in BH-CC - playing quarter VP all over the
place every chance I get.
A couple of quick comments... I was just back in the Midwest, playing
on Riverboats in Iowa, Illinois, and Missouri.
As far as I'm concerned, they all suck. Variety, paytables, service,
free drinks - Colorado casinos are superior in all areas.
Secondly - lots of developments up in the hills these days. New casinos
in Central City - three are being developed as we speak.
Also - lots of ownership changes in Blackhawk - both the Mardi Gras and
the Mountain have been sold. Now the Golden Gulch (used to be Jazz
Alley)
has been sold and will be torn down (or moved) to make way for a Mardi
Gras expansion (possibly a hotel).
Post back if you have any specific questions about BH or CC. If I don't
know the answer I'll find out.
Steve

Colorado
Hey There,
I don't ever hear any correspondence from Colorado gamblers concerning
things
going on in Blackhawk/Central City Colorado.
I go up there a few times a month, and more often than not, come out
ahead.
In fact, I think their comps and services are much more generous than
Nevada.
Even tho it is limited stakes, I have talked to folks in Nevada that
would
rather gamble in Colorado than Nevada. BTW, I play VP almost
exclusively.
Would love to hear from you.
Big Joe
