Hello,

If you have an iPhone and would like to try our app, version 1.1 is now available in the iTunes App Store.

With the help of many members here on this board, we were able to hopefully add some much needed improvements to the app. Read more about it here: www.gambletrackapp.com

We are also doing a promo on Twitter. The next 5 followers will get a promo code for a free download, follow us on Twitter @gambletrackapp.

Thank you for the input and we hope to continue to improve our iPhone / iPod Touch app.

Someone else will put out an APP that is valuable.Nice try but yours is too complicated and for me,has too many unnecessary data input and not enoughwhat I want.
What do I want?DateCasinoMachine # and gameAmount won or loss (I don't care how much I startedwith, etc etc)I don't care to keep a record of the cards I heldor notable win.What are misc expenses? I just want to track mygambling for myself and IRS.
I want that on one page and not a separate pagefor each location.
I want to transfer all the data to spread sheetseamlessly. It doesn't seem like a difficult programto write. If I don't see one soon, I may write onemyself.

I just use a Microsoft Excel spreadsheet. It work's fine for me.

Hi!

I am still new to this whole iPhone thing. However, I am usually notified (with a dot on the App) when there is an update for that particular App available. I do not see such a thing on my Gamble Track icon.

However, when I go the the App store, I do see that version 1.1 is available there. Are there not automatic updates available?

Or, am I just not doing something that I should?

Just my opinion...

I find this application useful and I do use most of the inputs at one time or another. In truth, I rather that an application have "too much" than "too little".

No piece of software is "perfect" for all people. One tries to find a "happy medium". This one works fine for me.

It would be nice to have some sort of a "visualizer" on the iPhone to examine the material that has already been input, but transferring it to an Excel spreadsheet, although inconvenient, works OK for me.

I've posted an earlier question about how one "upgrades" to version 1.1.

Thanks for all of the info!

You guys are right. My Father-in-Law always says that once an app is released it is outdated.

We still plan to do more updates and we will probably never end doing that. Your suggestions and tips will help us improve our app and we appreciate that many of you are satisfied with what we have done so far.

We already have been working on plans for future releases based on your input.

We look forward to more suggestions and best of luck to all of you in the coming year!
