Over the last few weeks the small information screen on an increasing
number of the machines at Red Rock have changed from the card level
requirements and points and FP info. to a red numerical keyboard. Last
night during my play 2 different VP machines shut down and rebooted
themselves during my play. A 2 to 3 minute break and they rebooted to
the exact screen that went away on the shutdown. A floor peson told me
that RR is trying to fix the problem within the system. However it
appears that to remedy the "glitch" in the program might require an 8
hour shutdown of the machines involved and the problem is widespread
within their machine inventory.
Apparently if you play a mchine with the red numerical keyboard showing
you can't access your FP.
BTW, when the Triple Play I was on shutdown, the playing screen and the
LCD upper screen went blank followed by a logo screen and screens of
assorted colors as it rebooted. A break in the action and a free light
show from RR.
