FYI - 2X at Table Mountain; 3X at Chukchansi

I found the information late and just wanted to pass a message to check these casino websites for multiple point days.

If you were a starving AP (with car and can travel) looking for good ideas, playing Chukchansi on Monday and TM on Tuesday this past month would have added to your EV bank.

Btw, the $6 prime rib at TM is supposed to be 8 oz, but usually is larger at 10 or 12 oz making a goog deal.

Also Chukchansi has a decent seafood buffet on wednesday nights for $9.

I went to both places last night. First note, on Double Points Days at Table Mountain your action does not count towards your tier levels. Essentially, you could play forever on Double Days and never advance to a higher level. I saw wording to that effect in the mailer, and asked at the slot club. After a little confusion and the first boothlings not knowing what they were talking about, nor what the question really meant, someone came out and addressed my question specifically. That's too bad because Saturday is the best day for me to go there and their Double days are Saturday and Tuesday this month. Oh well.

On another note, do you remember the machines at Chuckchansi that used to have 25-cent progressive 9/6 DDB that then got downgraded to 6/5 over a year ago? Well, the machines are still there although set on upright stands, and NO progressive, not that it mattered at 6/5 anyway. Just more fyi.

bobbartop raised an important topic as to what is more important: cash back at 2X or go up the membership level. That's a choice you have to answer yourself. If I was a local, I would choose the tier level since the next level is only $50,000 coin in, which can be achieved within an 8-hour day.

Most casino's will not let you double dip, i.e. let you get both the extra cash back AND count toward the tier level. Some casinos will allow the base action toward the tier level. And as bobbartop stated, TM is a bit more dracionian.

I thought they ALL allow the base action toward tier level. I guess I haven't paid attention then. I thought maybe this TM mailer just used poor wording but it turned out to be exactly how it looked.

Anyway, right now I am somewhat of a local and I agree with you that the tier level is more important. So, I guess I won't be going there on Saturdays this month. Maybe I'll take Chuckchansi up on a hotel offer and then hit TM on the way back down the mountain on Sunday morning.

thx,
BB
