FWIW

I've been sending back all promo e mails with the message:

  No points..no play.

Obviously there are those who continue to patronize this joint.

Hopefully less people will be going .

On Tuesday we went MS to get our FP and use points b4 our first stay at FW in 8 years. MS FPVP was very quiet. We gambled/scouted a couple of hours. Gave them ~$5K action and then onto FW.

FW Grand Pequot room was very nice. Walking around FW brings back distant memories. Where the Double Joker, All American and PE machines used to be; the little Pequot museum is still there....

Gave them $20K action on the 99% DDB. Couple of attendants stood behind us talking about how the machines points got cut way back and a lot of their regulars have dissapeared. We were the only ones on the bank of machines most of the time. Sometimes they would get crowded but all short coin/short timers.
Got 2 flashlights.
Now at about 300 points.
Lost another $500.

It's a 1% advantage with the $50 free play and $5K action.
It pales to the $30K action/day we used to give them.

MS Mgmt may notice that more than sending offers back?

$145 FP this coming Tuesday

Haaljo,
I'm math challenged. Could you please explain to me how the $50 FP becomes a 1% advantage ?

1% of $5000 = $50

so, if the game was 100%, that $50 FP would be a 1% advantage.

The game is not really 100%, though.
For a short-enough run, I'd guess it's not unreasonable to assume that one doesnt make any mistakes playing PE (99.95%).

The motherboard FAQ page is a great re-read:
http://members.cox.net/vpfree/FAQ.htm
Including:
"...EV can be increased by maximizing the product of [ER] times
[coin-in], a process which involves making trade-offs between speed and accuracy, and between lower and higher denomination machines with different returns..."

Also see the "Utopian Solution" on the above page.

Also, here's MS proposal for a casino resort in Palmer, MA:
http://www.mohegansun.com/sitelet/palmer/
You think there going to get support from Massachusetts constituents after their decimation of fair bets? There's only 3 full resort casinos proposed and they will have 2 of the 5 licenses in New England? Timing is everything.
