(Fwd) Wynn: No comp drinks for VP players

November edition:

Except for in the sports book, Wynn Las Vegas is no
longer comping drinks for video poker play at its bars,
regardless of the level of action.

So WYNN is no longer comping drinks to VP players at any of their
bars. How very clever of them! Of course in addition to alienating
some good customers, this will also preclude the casino from
receiving any benefit from the inebriated player's sloppy strategy.

I have a few additional suggestions for "punishing" VP players, that
the WYNN suits might wish to consider:

1. All buffets won with points received with VP play will be
resticted to ONE trip only with access to ONE side only of the
dessert offerings area.

2. Cocktail waitresses working the VP crowd on floor must be on the
wrong side of age 70, hard of hearing and prone to getting drink
orders confused.

3. No cigarettes or cigars will be comped to VP players. Smoking
these nicotine products is apt to cause them to imbibe more heavily.

4. Rooms comped via VP play, will be in WYNN's sub-basemen. These
accommdations will be very small, windowless, dimly lit and with a
shared bathroom just down the hall.

5. All Red cards used by VP players must be exchanged for the
new "Pink Card". This will enable slot floor workers to immediately
identify the gambler as "one of them disgusting AP video poker
players". This will be particularly effective in slowing down hand-
pays, machine malfunctions and ticket jams.

I'm offering these suggestions free of charge to Steve Wynn. The
combination of the downturn in his stock with his "elbow-hole-in-the-
Picasso" event, may have rendered him unable to pay a high-priced
exec suit for valuable suggestions of this kind. ({O:

Here are some of MY "suggestions" for Wynn:

6. Every OTHER video poker machine is designated non-smoking. This
way, non-smoking VP players will HAVE to sit beside a smoker (or two).

7. Regardless of the denomination, all video poker machines accept
only $5 bills. This way the advantage players will be slowed down
even before they play!

8. In the event of a hand-pay, the slot machine attendant MUST hustle
the player for a tip. If the player refuses to tip, the slot machine
attendant (and bartender) MUST give the player a surly attitude.

I hope this "helps". Replies appreciated.
