Your right on the money. I agree. As I've posted before, I look at tips form a different angle. As
most wouldn't like here; It's, whats in it for me. The cleaning folks have access to my personal
stuff. I tip daily because I don't want the cleaning people spitting on my tooth brush, or worse.
If the maids make 7 bucks hr., why should I feel obligated to pay them more out of my pocket.
Geeze, my son-in-law is down to 3 day work week and that couple bucks a nite would serve them
better than some maid that I don't know. Just because I cycle a lot of $$ doesn't mean I got to
give some away.
To Insure Proper Service; TIPS. I tip the maids to insure proper service and proper service is;
Stay Away Form My Toothbrush!!!

Personally, it makes not one bit of difference to me what the
hotel maids are earning. I had nothing to do with their choice
of employer. I am in no way responsible for their wages.
If you feel it's necessary to tip hotel maids, please tip them!
I couldn't care less.
