Subject: [vpFREE] Harrah's Kansas City
I spent spent Friday night and Saturday morning at Harrah's North
Kansas City. As usual I headed straight for my favorite .25 All-
American machines, the round bank of six slant top Gamemakers in
front of the big screen on the first floor, only to find that they were
turned off. I headed upstairs, only mildly concerned at this point, and
found that the long bank of slant top Gamemakers in the middle of the
second floor were turned off. Next, mildly panicked, I headed for the
round bank of upright Gamemakers [(5)$1 and (1).25] on the second floor,
to the left side from the escalator. These were disabled too. At this
point I was sure that KC had joined St. Louis as a one location
All-American play (President-STL; Isle of Capri-KC).
However, my last hope proved to be my salvation---there were still some
active $1 and .25 AA machines remaining at the far back and left corner
of the second floor (from the top of the escalator). Later I noticed a
lone $1 Gamemaker with AA remained active along the right side wall as
you enter the main floor past the blues sculpture/fountain.
Does anyone know what is going on with all the disabled machines? I am
afraid they may be the latest victims of the dual trends toward TITO
and against positive EV video poker.
