Harrahs Update- someone else prompted me to take a closer look at the
GK with the Harrahs logo/lime green glass. Thanks to ?, I should have
made note.

Between the poker room and the high limit room on the east wall are
lots of slant-tops. A group of seven are these lime green (.25, .50,
$1) TITO machines, one can play 10/7 DB or 9/6 Jacks in the three
denominations, but only on stations #2 and #6 of the seven.

An upright group of six (2x3) of these lime green GK sits between
Rosa's Cantina and the east doors. One, on southeast corner has the
above mentioned configuration.

Once again, two more (back-to-back) of these lime green upright GK are
between Rosa's and the east doors but next to a pillar, have the above
configuration.

All the rest are decoys with 8/5 Jacks, etc.

The quarter 3/5 play is MIA by Cabo Cafe with Super Double Bonus.

I don't know if you want to include this but...
...in the Non-smoking casino the best single-line quarter play is 9/7/5
DB in several GKs on the east windows starting at The Range restaurant.

I can verify this, except that it is every other machine with the good
paytable, so that would be 2,4, and 6 of the 7 machines. As you might
expect as I was checking them one evening all 3 of the 'good' machines
were in use and some of the 'bad' ones were available, so I went thru
and checked what the people on the 'good' machines were playing and
every one of them was on a 'bad' game. I guess we have to just thank
those people for helping keep any decent plays alive a little longer.

Happy Royals

Just a brief side note to Harrah's Laughlin. The last time I went
"scouting" there was last October and one of the floor people
immediately pointed me out to security who asked me "if they could
help me". Obviously the weren't happy about me walking around looking
at their machines and taking notes. They didnt ask me to leave but I
did anyway so not to cause any problems. This is the only time I've
ever been hassled by any casino on a VP scouting trip. I personally
don't like Harrahs and don't play there anyway so it wasnt any big
deal for me. Just thought you might be interested to hear about my
experience. Regards to all,
Tooz

Interesting.

I've openly scouted many casinos for years and have
never been aware of any attention from casino personel.

If questioned, I'd tell them what I'm doing and wouldn't
anticipate a problem.

I understand the river bar is now TITO. I'm coming to town on 3/20 for a
couple of days and would like to confirm this.

Both bars are TITO.

Actually all three bars at the Edgewater are TITO. There is another
VP bar downstairs (sportsbar) between the buffet and the Hickory Pit.
The games are downgraded, but have a progressive on the RF that can
get large.
