(Fwd) Video Poker Mt Airy Casino,Pa.

It is my understanding that all the gambling machines in the

commonwealth of Pennsylvania are run out of Harrisburg,Pa with a
set return to the player. This may include all video poker
machines no matter what pay schedule they shown on the machines.

In New York state there are many video poker machines marked J/B
9/6 with only a payback at the rate of the state not what is
shown on the machines. The folks at the casino indicate
emphaticly that these are nevada machines but I can assure you
that the payback is at the state set rate and well below the
return of the regular J/B 9/6. <<<<

The feedback I've seen indicates that video poker in Pennsylvania
casinos and most (all?) New York Indian casinos purports to be
dealt from a random and fair deck of cards, the same as in
Nevada.

OTOH, video poker pay tables in New York racinos are irrelevant,
and some sort of lottery or bingo system is used in determining
payouts.

If these are lottery/bingo based video poker machines they will say something like "cards dealt are for entertainment purposes only" where the true random machines say "game is based on 52 card deck". IGT tells you this on their website. I saw such machines at a casino in Alabama.

All Casino's run by the New York State Lottery are paid out at 92%.
There is one 1/4 of a mile from my house :)..No matter what, I
couldn't bring myself to stick in a buck twenty-five  into VP -
However, on occasion, I do play progressives (not VP) - and we are
ahead for last year (I do not expect THAT to continue) - but we don't
go all that often. Maybe once a month.
