(Fwd) Resorts East Chicago Inventory

The .25 progressive was closing in on $1800 when I left the chase.

The $1 must have been hit as it was just over reset on Thursday
evening. The $.25 reached a juicy $1700+ which I chased to the tune of
$200. Multi-Strike DBDW dealt me 5 Aces on 4x so it wasn't a bad day.

Thanks for the info. Don't know whether I'll continue the chase on
Sunday if it hasn't been hit.

I'm definitely going to give MS a piece of my mind over the condition
of the bar. I'm now the owner of 4 completely ruined shirts thanks to
the bar. The bar is designed with what appears to be a metallic strip
on its outer edge. As drinks are spilled a corrosive mix seeps under
this strip. Anyone who presses against it during the course of bartop
play will squeeze out a rust solution that will permanently stain
garments. I've tried all conceivable stain treatments and nothing
removes these stains which I suspect are resultant from extremely
concentrated rust solution. This problem has existed since the bar
opened and I've brought it to their attention several times. There is
no way to tell by visual inspection that rust liquid might ooze out. I
think it's a function of how recently drinks were spilled in the
vicinity. I suspect that I'm not the only player this has happened to.
There very well could be people who don't event realize that the
bartop was the source of their stained garments. If anyone has an
effective way to remove rust stains please let me know as I've tried
all the popular remedies without success. My advice to other players
is avoid contact with the bartop edge and check your
shirt/blouse/jacket/etc. for rust colored stains when you get home.

Dropped by the Empress today and had a free admission ticket.
I was told there is no more admission fee 7 days a week, until further notice.

Did Illinois drop the %75 gaming tax yet?

I bet this is in response to that, if it happened.

No. That will happen when the 10th casino opens if it ever does.

Not all Illinois casinos have opted to pass this tax along to their
patrons. Some are undoubtedly feeling competitive pressure from
Indiana casinos which not only are taxed much lower, but in some cases
offer substantially better vp & slots inventory.
