Someone posted a question regarding the status of quarter 9/6 JOB at
Resorts Atlantic City. Since 8/5 Bonus Poker is plentiful throughout
the casino, I forgot they even had a few JOB machines thrown in. I
performed a scouting mission on Saturday and would like to contribute
the following updates / clarifications of machine locations. There are
some additional machines I found but am going to return this weekend to
come up with a good description as to their location. However, as a
start, I would like to submit the following:
The database currently has this entry:
(1) $1 on a landing a few steps below the high-limit area.
There are actually three machines on this landing with 9/6 JOB and in
additional denominations also. The "landing" in question is between
the main casino floor and the high limit room proper.
As one goes up to the landing from the main casino floor, there are
four slant tops along a short wall to the right and nine slant tops
which face the main casino floor. There is also one slant top that
faces a large pillar. Of the four on the short wall, the third from the
left has 9/6 JOB in one dollar, two dollar, and five dollar
denominations. Of the nine that face the casino floor next to the
large pillar, the first and fourth machines from the left have 9/6 JOB
in one dollar, two dollar, and five dollar denominations. Of the
aforementioned nine machines, the first machine has "Draw Poker" on the
top glass and the fourth machine has "Game King" on the top glass.
Moving on to the high limit room proper, the data base indicates the
following:
(4) $2/$5 in high-limit area.
(1) $10 in high-limit area.
I found the following in the high limit room:
There are a eight slant tops back to back (four and four). Of the four
that are facing the main casino floor, the one on the far right has 9/6
JOB at the five dollar and ten dollar denomination.
In a separate bank of six slant tops in the high limit room, the fourth
machine from the left has 9/6 JOB at the two dollar, five dollar and
ten dollar denominations. This machine has "Draw Poker" on the top
glass.
Now, going back to the main casino floor.
The following machine is MIA since that part of the casino was replaced
with Asian table games:
(1) 25c MG slant-top in the new non-smoking section off the boardwalk
entrance.
I have one more addition until I can flesh out my location description
of the other quarter 9/6 machines.
Entering the main casino floor from the boardwalk entrance, there is a
bank of Joker Poker progressives to the left. If standing with one's
back to this progressive bank, the slant top at the far left has 9/6
JOB at the fifty cent and one dollar denominations.
That's it for now until next week.
