(Fwd) Palms Promotion Exclusions

I was at the Palms 5/28/08 & 5/29/08 and more than just the 100+
machines had the "This machine excluded form any promotions" sticker on
them. I didn't check every machine on the list, but it appears that
all machines containing 25c and above 9/6 JoB multiplay have been
stickered. I noticed the stickers on these machines:

(10) 25c (5 Play) MG uprights near Garaduno's entrance
(8) 25c (3/5 Play) MG/MD uprights between poker room and Lounge BAr
(6) 25c (10 Play) MG/MD uprights near cashier
(10) $1/$2 (3/5 Play) MG/MD uprights between box office and Lounge Bar.

I asked the Club boothlings twice whether all stickered machines were
excluded from the prize drawings and they said yes. I also asked if
they were excluded from the 4x points I received from swiping my card
and they said yes.

i've always received point multipliers from the card swipes while
playing fpdw...

It is so frustrating that you can never get accurate information about
this sort of thing from the people in the Club booth. I mean if you
get a point multiplier, it is a pretty big deal. People travel all
over Las Vegas to take advantage of point multipliers. They should be
able to accurately tell you the rules for using it.

It is confusing isn't it! If the point were multiplied as you play
it would be easy, just play and see if it's working, but the do it
after the fact, and you don't really know for 1 to 3 days if you
really received the multiple points or not.

We should really try to nail down what's good and what's not there.
Here's what I know so far:

100% games are NOT included in "Play and Win" where you earn points
and then get gifts for them. These are the only machines excluded as
far as I know. Chris played one night on a machine labled "Not
Included in Promotions" and her points DID count for the gifts.

The lable "not included in promotions" DOES eliminate you from bonus
coins coupons. We had a 125 coin coupon for 4 OAK 6,7,8 and it
wasn't honored on the 8/5/1199 BP

There are different rules for the various point multiplier coupons
and nobody seems to know for sure what they are. What I've
experienced is this:

* Coupon from LVA is good for all machines
* Coupon from ACG is NOT good for 100% machines
* Coupon from swipeing card is a mystery. Sometimes it seems to work
on 100% games and sometimes not.
* Coupon from small quarterly booklet is NOT good for 100% or or any
full pay games -- in this case it clearly says so on the back of the
coupon. However, which games do "they" call "full pay"???

I am an out of stater, but I always get the 3x points from the LVA coupon
and I received a couple of card swipes when I was there last March. I'm not
sure if this is new or not.
