********************************

There are no quarter single line 8/5 Bonus, 9/7 DB, or 9/6 DDB
anymore, which means no full pay anything below the $ level. Not
much left for us low-rollers in Shreveport. The quarter 3-5 play
MG's on the 2nd level do have 9/7 DB and 9/6 DDB. (The Deuces
Wild on those machines are ugly.) The $1 MG's on the 1st floor
as you enter from the escalator include full pay NSUD's.

Was there 08/22/08 for only 2 hours and did notice that they have
replaced the multiplay multigame upright VP that were across from the
single line $1 Vp on the first deck with slots( as you enter) and also
the four or five VP machines to the right of the Fifty/Hundred plays.
The few slot that were at the end of the row of VP games on the wall
right behind the 50/100 plays (over your shoulder) I think have been
changed to VP, kind of noticed out the corner of my eye… not
sure??? Do you rate the 50/100 plays as a "low roller" play since you
can play less than maximum hands?

Will maybe be there on 08/28/08 and if we do I'll thry to look the scene
over and if there is anything worth reporting.... will.

No, I always play 100 games, but usually pennies. Even though it's $5 per hand, you get a lot of chances to hit something. But if they are tied up, which they are a lot, I like to play .25 or maybe .50 machines, but can't find any worth playing on single lines anymore.

I see a lot of people playing less than the max hands. I guess now
that the games and denominations you reported are gone there will be
more playing the 50/100 plays and playing less than max hands!?
The 50 play pennies is $2.50 and 25 hands would be $1.25, that would
be equivalent to $.25 and $.50 games? But, then the bankroll for
50&25 hand play would be higher then the single line version.
I guess they ( the Casinos ) will all be tightening up if the economy
stays in this down turn? Are they going to drop all the lower play
games like Vegas seem to be doing?? (Rhetorical question!) Oh well!,
Shreveport is just barely playable ( My opinion) for recreational
players like myself. Much change and it won't be a draw to me at all?
Then what will do? Sit on the porch and rock out! By means of the
chair...Man! Ha!

Then there is the guy I've seen, several times now, at HS, playing NSUD on two machines at
once, 100 line nickels. What a bankroll he must have!

Yeah, if my bankroll was that high, I'd be in Vegas. I've also seen
several playing less than 5 coins per hand. Last time there a lady
next to me was playing 100 hands but only 1 penny per hand.

BL, you seem to be in the know. I know there are legitimate reasons
for playing 2 machines (holding one for partner, waiting on payout,
etc) but when players are using 2 machines for no apparent reason -
not playing either machine particularly fast - are they mainly doing
it so they won't have to sit by someone or maybe they just don't want
to see someone else hit the big one on a machine that they could be
on? It irritates me that I can't get on one, but I am curious as to
their reasoning. What do you think?

You got that right, BL!
Which bug ya more....? Two machines or less than max play? Of course we
all have the same rights..... but I ain't that perfect not to be just a
little annoyed by the two machine guy when there isn't one for me to
play?? I haven't been much lately. Am planning to be Thursday, we'll
see? I on the other hand I only play less than max hands when I am down
to the nubbings cash wise? Also, if I want to play 50 play and all that
is open is 100 play.... well then 50 is all I play! But!,always 5 coins
per hand, and we know why!

She would be better off playing less hand and 5 coins per hand, but
in some there isn't this knowledge?

I sometime would like to play two machines because is so slow
waiting for you wins to total up, so speed is one of the factor in
my book.

At the HS, it always seems to be the guys using 2 machines and at least playing at a reasonable speed, but in Vegas it seems like it's more the elderly ladies tying up the FPDW, playing both machines so slowly I can hardly stand it. At least there are more casinos to visit in Vegas, but I hate to spend my time travelling from one to another.

Well, with this one specific guy, I think that he believes he has a (minimally) positive game
and wants to get as much coin though per hour as possible. I have spoken with him often
and he seems to be a reasonable fellow. But maybe with more money and time on his hands
than he can handle. LOL.

Hey B! you might have something there?

Unless he is getting some really great comps, etc.??? Maybe he's a
Seven Star card holder? The 99.7% EV ain't nothing to sell the farm
over;-)??

But maybe with more money and time on his hands than he can handle.
  LOL.

That is an awful affliction! We should pray for him! Lol.
Personal note: I wish him all the luck in the world! He is going to
need it!

Thanks. Are any of you playing in the VP Tourney September 8-9 at HS? I guess I'll give it a shot again.
