The health club analogy doesn't work, as you're talking about 20 or
30 minute intervals on the treadmill...heck, after 20 minutes on a VP
machine, you're just getting settled in!

Who said anything about 30 minutes. All I'm saying is a signup sheet would
be fair so when someone left a machine it would go to the next person on the
list. They had to do that with seats at Pai Gow last weekend at the Rampart.
Nobody rushed anyone but when a seat came up, it went to the next person on
the list.

Karen, my appologies...I think I misunderstood your original post:

"In fairness to all, casino managements should implement "sign up"
sheets, and limit the time which anyone may play while others are
waiting for a machine. (To accomodate those playing other games while
waiting, allow 5-10 minutes for the new player to arrive and begin
play). Gosh health clubs do it for the treadmills!"

When you said "limit the time which anyone may play while others are
waiting" and then referenced the health club, I mistakeningly thought
that since most health clubs limit the time on cardio machines to 20
or 30 minutes when other members are waiting, that was the time limit
you were suggesting.

Well, since its not 20 or 30 minutes, what is the time frame are you
suggesting?
