I believe that the "sunken vp" area is the "video poker" room near the Keno area, if you look carefully there is a sign above the main central walkway entrance to the sunken area that says Video Poker

reinstated 9/6 Jacks on four $1/$2 3/5 play slantops
in the "sunken VP area". They also have 9/6 Jacks on
the $5 - $100 machines in the high-limit room.
