(Fwd) Harrahs 7 Star status - a key privilege

The standard seems to be 1 hour lock down for Platinum and 2 hours lock down
for Diamond.

My experience is that Harrah's AC has a special Diamond Jerk status.

Play for an hour and a half, with your wife watching from a adjacent
highly sought after machine (playing a hand every minute or so for
good measure). Shut both machines down and disappear for dinner for
lunch for 3 hours. (Machine attendents look at amother player
vapidly when he/she mentions that the machines have been locked down
for mighty long.)

Return to the same regimen, switching machines for a little spice in
your life. Play another 90 minutes and then lock 'em up for another
3 hours. (A bitter complaint is now received blankly, during which
the attendent absentmindedly scratches their ass. Might as well
write the night off.)

If I had my way I'd end lock downs once and for all. All too often
it leads to machines that get half the play they otherwise would, to
the detriment of all.

My sentiments exactly.

We have never done a machine lock down.
