(Fwd) Golden Nugget Update - Large bank of Bonus Flush Machine

Hi there:

Just came back from 3 days at the Nugget. I'm somewhat of a rookie, so
you may want to have one of the Nugget regulars confirm my findings.

It may be worth having someone confirm if the $0.05 10/7 Double Bonus
machines by the buffet are intact - I don't recall seeing any paying
10/7 at a quick walk-thru.

The Nugget's proprietary Bonus Flush machines are present in a big way.
There are appx. 24 $0.25 TITO machines in several rows in front of the
main cashier. The old Royal payline of 1000/2000 has been downgraded
slightly to a more conventional 800/1600 now making the game around
99.5%, I believe. Dunno if these were reintroduced as a blast from the
past with the reopening of the poker room or if they've been around for
awhile, but they weren't listed on the database and there's not much to
choose from for decent Quarter machines. They're a heckuva lot of fun
to play when you're drawing to the bonus suit, too!

I don't know if they had a special points promotion going for bonus
flush, but they were yielding 10 points per spin on 1/3 & 1/4. I played
about 2-3 hours each day and racked up over 8,000 points. Hope this is
of some help.

10/7 DB still intact in same area as of 1/11/05.

do the bonus flush machines pay a bonus on the aces, 2, 3, and 4's. seemed to be the problem with the old bonus machines that had a better payoff on a certain suit.

I confirm roberts confirmation. I played all eight of the nickel
Game Kings with 10/7 DB late Tuesday night. While I was playing, I
watched other players play everything BUT Double Bonus, including
what looked like 6/5 Bonus. Oh well, no use being a teacher.
Meanwhile, this lady behind me was putting a beating on one of the
Millioni$er games. When I left to play the quarter Double Royal
Mania machines, she had something like 95000 credits on her machine.
And for anyone interested, the Progressive on the DRM machines was
$24554
