Update as of 3/28
Harrah's Tahoe -- no change.
The $1 3-play NSUD are verified. I know I checked them in Feb and they
were short pay or I was short sighted, so double check before playing.
I was trying to get $5 to play on one hand and get full pay (there is a
button to play multiple hands), but hit the 4 deuces before I got it
figured out and quit.
Harvey's Tahoe -- no change.
Bill's Tahoe -- no change but an amplification: The 25c 9/6 JOB
consists of five (5) old coin-in uprights.
Caesars Tahoe -- no change. Did not notice the new $2 PKM, I will look
for it next time.
Lakeside Inn Tahoe -- no change.
Horizon Tahoe -- no change but an amplification: The 25c (4700 RF) 9/6
JOB are on four (4) slant top machines in the VP cluster of 36 machines
near the stateline (Calif) enterance. The 25c 3-play NSUD's are on
five (5) machines adjacent to the bar by the movies. The machines
across the aisle, nearer the cashier are all short pay. Also, there is
a $10 limit on the 5x coupon for $50 cash back maximum.
El Dorado Reno -- no change. It might be helpful to know that the 5 DB
machines nearer the Brew Bros only pay out in nickels, so if you are
cashing out anything over $40 (or so), you have to wait for a hand pay.
The single denomination 25c machines futher along the wall will save
you a lot of time.
Harrah's Reno -- did not check. I was probably in error on my Feb
report that the PKM were short pay--there is no pay table help button,
so the only way to check if 5 coins is full pay is to put money in
because the last display always seems to be for 1 coin which is short
pay.
Circus Reno -- no change? I found the PKM machines and didn't look
futher.
Silver Legacy -- Unable to find any $1 10/7 DB near Rum
Bullions/Buffet. There is only the bank of 14 multi-play machines that
go up to $1. All the DB on those machines was 9/7. Did not check the
10/7/40 DDB but the JOB was 9/6 on them. The 3/5/10 play are full pay
down to 5 nickels per hand (I think)--the data base lists them as
25c/50c/$1 but they should be 5c/10c/25c/50c/$1. I was playing full pay
at 20 nickels per hand and 5 hands to get my points up. Played FPDW on
Sunday and Monday (not double points days) and was getting 50+ points
per hour (800+ hph). Only used to get 30 point/hr on the old coin FPDW.
Got $67 comp credit for my 1000 points over the 2 days (extra 10% for
being 55+ years old) = 0.33%. The point is that thought the percentage
may be down, the machines are twice as fast so the $/hr is the same or
better!!
