I just got back from an LV work gig. Played exclusively at CC and
SAF. Wow, SAF is mega-smoky, but the early 80s pop music mostly
made up for it. I played exclusively the 25c A+8 near the
washrooms. Just to clarify: on these machines, four aces and four
eights is the only progressive, and it resets at 400 coins. It
appeared to go up reasonably quickly. I actually hit it for $128
at one point. The royal is fixed at 4000 coins and the sequential
royal at $20k. Double cashback accrued on Wednesday, which was
cool. Comps were minimal.
In CC itself I did not notice the double-point wednesday, but I
may not have paid proper attention to my meter. I found all three
banks of A+8. It's a longer walk over to the skyrise, but less
smoky and quieter. All three banks had the same
paytable--Progressive meters on the sequential and regular royal,
and both available in 25c or 50c. (5c was not full pay.) The four
aces/four eights jackpot was not accruing as a progressive but
fixed at $100.00/$200.00 (clearly could be set to be
progressive). The RF prog did not appear to increase quickly, but
it's icing on the cake, since the machine is a good pay to start
with. OTOH, I'm not particularly fond of variance, so I prefer
the SAF paytable.
