Amen! David. They should also not allow new construction to have grass, let them put in desert plantings or astro turf like other drought areas do. I find there is no recycling here in Nevada compared to other states in which I have lived. In Minetonka, MN they would fine you if you did not have your recycling out by the curb at least once a month, and they charged you for the privilege.In Michigan you had a choice, but were made aware that it was the preferred thng to do, same for Maryland. Gee...I sound like I have only lived in states starting with "M" - not so. In Nevada there are no guidelines and everyone takes takes the environment for granted. The social conscience of Nevada is about 15 years behind the times.
