Maybe you can shed some light on this for me- Why would anyone play
Pseudo FPDW?
If I am at a place that does not have FPDW or NSUD(16/10 - when
combine with cash back & points) ) I just would not play DW until I
got somewhere that had it...
I am not at my regular computer - what exactly is the EV for that
(pesudoFPDW) game?
I am kind of disappointed because I thought the guide would have
FPDW
and NSUD...
I think that if people see the pseudo game in a winners guide they
get the impession(newbies especially) that Dancer & Daily
actually "approve_recommend" playing it. What is the opinion of
this
group.

Based on reading volume 1, it seems that the books try to combine
analysis of games that have similar, almost identical strategies. In
his jacks or better book, he analyzed 9/6 JB, 8/6 JB8/5 JB, 7/5 JB
and 8/5 Bonus poker (and perhaps others). The common denominator was
that 2 pair always paid 2 coins. Therefore, for example, bonus poker
had more in common srategy-wise with JoB than DB.
As for DW, I assume that with all of the differences in pay
schedules, there isn't a good common strategy between NSUD and full-
pay. So Dancer analysed "pseudo" full-pay instead, a 98.9% game,
since it also has a 5-3-2-2-1 schedule, and therefore has a lot in
common strategy-wise.
As for the bad pay schedules, Dancer justifies including them because
1) the strategy is very similar to the full-pay schedule, and 2)
sometimes a promotion justifies playing these 99% games if the 100%
game is either unavailable or excluded.
Oh, and it allows Dancer also to make a few extra bucks.
