The letter that came with the May coupons from Stations Casinos stated in
part:
"Another exciting Boarding Pass enchancement is our cross property kiosk and
restaurant redemptions. Let me explain; when you want to redeem your Fiesta
Points at your favorite Station or your Station points at your favorite
Fiesta, you can do so either at a kiosk or right at the restaurant. No more
having to stop by the Rewards Cener (although they are always happy to see
you).<<
The only problem with this is they forgot to tell the employees! We were at Costa del Sol at Sunset on Friday night. The check came, I asked if I could put it on my Fiesta card. No problem. The waiter leaves - 15 minutes go by. George is irritated and asks the hostess to get our card back. She says there is nothing she can do, he asks for the manager. The manger comes to our table with the card. Says he needs the Stations card and our pin number. I have done this before at the slot club and that is what they asked for. Thinking he would go to the slot club, I went with him. He headed for the kiosk. He knew NOT what he was doing. Finally after watching him make mistakes, I just took the points off the Sunset card and decided to wait for a few weeks until everyone knows what is going on. I will say that the Buffet at Sunset has the ability to swipe the Fiesta card. Now if all the restaurants would be that easy!
