I got an offer for a $10,000 slot tournament for the weekend of Aug. 22 - 24.
Free room for three nights. I hardly play there and have never stayed
there. Anyone know how the rooms are? I'm signed up.

The rooms are decent. I would recommend a high floor facing the atrium.
Our offers have been dewindling, so we plan to hold out for something better. I did get a September offer for 2 nights Sun-Thur and $25 food. We used to get 3 anytime nights and $90 to Billy Bob's steakhouse. Once, they upgraded us to a suite. We increased our play and got poorer offers. Maybe winning there doesn't help? 
I like the TITO FPDW though in 25c and 10 coin 5c.

The rooms at Sams Town are kind of sparse, but they are clean and very
acceptable. I like them. Dick M.

Having just moments ago returned from play at Sam's Town, and having stayed there half a dozen times in the past---The rooms are lousy. The walls are thin. The place reeks of smoke. It's a glorified Motel 6. But the restaurants are a bit above average. Fellini's, where I ate last evening, is one of the best upscale Italian bistros in town. Billy Bob's (temporarily located near Roxy's due to renovation) is one of the better steakhouses in town. I think the buffet is at or near the top in quality and selection, and the cheap price puts it over the top. But I go there because of the machines in the new section: TITO multi-play/multi-denom. up to $5. But most people there play pennies/2c/nickels. I feel trashy when I'm there, and it seems every type player I dislike is in every seat in the joint. I've received 3 night offers for every month this year - all with at least $100 cash & RFB (Gold card). You need not put in a lot of play/day to get this offer--maybe $8000. For you guys who play those FPDW and 10/7 DB coin machines, that shouldn't take a whole lot of time.
