Also Pala is very, very, very, asian oriented. The rooms, buffet, the people. If a trip through chinatown bothers you don't go. If you happen to win a jackpot requiring a hand payout request security. I have had 10 so far and each time I have 60 year plus asian women asking for money (claiming the casino took it all). I always ask "at gunpoint???" always to no response. If there is no security around you they will follow you, and follow you, and follow you. If you just keep to yourself you should be fine. Very smokey at night but you can hide in the non-smoking. It is real. It has a glass partiton. As always "GOOD LUCK AND KNOCK'EM DEAD"

Does anyone have any experience at the Pala Resort in California?
I know that the regular slots just suck the sleeve completely off your
arm in a very short time. I have resolved never to play them again
and to educate myself about VP.I am a new to the VP game and have just started reading Jean Scott's
"Frugal VP".The only 9/6 games that I can find there are the $1.00 machines that
are close to the buffet (good buffet).I called them on the telephone asking information about if their VP
machines were class II or class II machines and if the card draws were
completely random or bingo based. They actually called me back in
about 10 minutes and gave me a seemingly informed and polite answer.
(I was impressed.) They told me that they were all random and that all
there VP machines and slot machines were indeed random and all class

I have much experience @ Pala and Pechanga as well as Harrah's Rincon.. Pala has added
N.S.U.D. in dollars to the bar-tops @ both bars. Also $1.00 9/6 in the non-smoking area.
Pechanga has $1.00 9/6 in the high-limit room (bar-top) as well as NSUD.. They have one
bank of 9/6 Quarters outside the high limit which are always busy.. Rincon has nothing
but low pay even in the high limit area, but the comps keep getting me back there and
since playing there I have not paid for any rooms in Vegas.. It's an interesting trade off.
