FW: Re: Harrah's Backrooms and Trespasses 86 year old Great Grandmother

A lot has been mentioned about the fact that they cannot take you in the
back room legally. I am curious as to why you did not put your foot down and
state that you would leave and not allow them to take you anywhere?

No, I'm not kidding. This afternoon six security personnel surrounded my

Mother and me at a mid-continent Harrah's property, escorted us to a back
room and read us a trespass statement. It was comprehensive for all 31
Caesar's Entertainment properties.

Not to answer for the original poster, but I would suspect that unless you had mentally rehearsed what to say/do and were otherwise somewhat prepared for a backroom threat, the act of saying no when confronted by a bunch of suits and security goons might be more easier said than done.

True.which is why both DH and I have discussed this at length and will
continue to do so in case in ever happens to the procedure is in our
minds...state firmly that you will leave the premises, you are not arguing
about leaving the premises but will not allow them to take you anywhere. If
they don't take that for an answer out comes the cell phone and 911 is
dialed. If that all fails then a lawyer for false imprisonment.

Anyone who did not listen to the Bob Nersesian interview about this exact topic, here is a link.
