anybody have any experience w/this? i don't know if i

can make it through the 2 hours!!!!! thanks<<

I have always made money playing in the D concourse at McCarran, not huge amounts but enough to say I won. Played quarter DW and DB. My daughter is a slot player and swears by the Chili Peppers on the same coucourse. Flight Attendants have told me that people are always running to catch the plane after waiting to collect a jackpot. Good Luck.

Cheers!

I'm pretty sure that you mean "Ugly Ducks" (UD) rather than
"not-so-ugly ducks" (NSUD).

Both are "short pay", but NSUD is fairly attractive with a 99.7%
return, UD has a 98.9% return. The $1 deuces machines operated at the
airport by Coast Casinos are UD machines.

Paytables per coin wagered (as clarification):

NSUD: 1/2/3/4/4/10/16/25/200/800
UD: 1/2/3/4/4/9/15/25/200/800

UD is "shorted" on the SF and 5K.

And now a confession: At the conclusion of a reasonably successful
trip I've been know to toss a C-note the way of those ugly ducks at
the airport. Call it a parting shot.

I love the game and by far it's the best deuces game I'll see until a
return to LV (AC seems to think the game is a fair excuse to rip off
any player foolish enough to play it in AC).

Just to complete this discussion of "Duck" nomenclature, the airport
also had (has?) "Decoy Ducks" ... same pay schedule as FPDW, but the
4K gets shorted to 4.

Not likely to fool sophisticated players who carefully examine pay
schedules, but potentially deadly to the naive who don't realize this
single reduction turns the game into a 94% vacuum cleaner. POW!

Never hit the RF, or 4 ducks - but after 12,000 hands of airport deuces I'm
still lifetime ahead on these monstors.
Go figure !
The Reno airports' best game is ugly ugly ducks (97% ) - now thats a tough
airport to beat !
