Fw: LVH trip

Was at LVH last wknd. I earned comp dollars at a .19% rate.
I did something I've never done before and hope to never do again. I still
can't believe I did it.
I was playing the 10 play Mon nite right before we were going to go see D
Brenner. My friends came by and wanted to get going so I pulled my players
card and left without cashing out the $830 something I had in the machine.
About 15 minutes later after the show had just started it dawned on me

that

I haden't cashed out my money.
I zipped back to the machine but of course it was gone. Someone had
evidently played a few hands on it and cashed out $808. I don't like

losing

the money that way but even worse is not understanding how I could do

that.

I'm always the organized one who reminds everyone else to cash out, take
their card ect. It's embarassing. Another lesson learned.

Boy do I emphathize, John! I'm all too prone to such a thing as
battle fatigue sets in during a longer trip.

I've been fortunate in that I've never suffered over a $100 loss on
any one occasion, but there's been more than one lapse and I expect
there'll be more -- clearly no lesson learned here

There was a near miss that should have put the fear of god into me --
I once walked from a $1 machine and $750 in tokens (the machine
"spills" hand wins that would take the meter over $400 and it had been
over 2 hours since my last spill). It was close to 3 hours later that
I realized what I had done. Fortunately an alert attendent handed the
coin over to security, but the sinking heart feeling I was filled with
before getting the good news was very slow to pass.
