FW comp rate

The last 3 sessions in July I played it seemed to me that I was not earning at the normal rate for VP. I cannot confirm it, but it almost seemed as if there were lapses where no pts at all. Just wondering if anyone has noticed or can confirm one way or another.

Thanks

Chuck

Earnings seemed to be normal during my last trip 7/5-7/7. Just as a reminder, in case it might have slipped your mind, while your card is in the machine, earned points do not update. The card must be removed and reinserted for the recently earned points to show.

Most machines at Mohegan do not give points for VP. I am finding very few if any that do now. Mostly only if that also have slots on the same screen. That could be why.

Yup, i pull/reinsert my card. It is probably my imagination, thanks for confirming that there is not some sort of downgrade.

This is at Foxwoods. Looks like there is no problem though as GURU confirmed normal rate.

Foxwoods has FP VP $1 and above that earns points.

Thanks, Chuck

Upon further reflection, however, (it happens a lot at my age*:-O surprise), it does seem at times that the system itself might be slow at updating. The last time I was there, I played for a while and thought I should have been around 10-12 points, but just had 6. But a while later, it jumped up to around 20, which is where I thought it should be. By the end of the night, I was definitely up to where I thought it was correct.

It may have something to do with how crowded it is and the activity levels. Once when I was there on
a very busy weekend when there was a show & a giveaway, for a while
when I inserted my card it said the system was unavailable and an attendant said it was a volume issue. It took a few minutes before it accepted my card in a normal way. Needless to say, with the high coin-in per point, I didn’t play until my card was recognized.

You’re right on the volume part Guru. I rely upon you to keep me ( us) updated on any possible comp rate changes.

I have been trying to coax the powers that be, to upgrade the JOB ( dollar ) pay tables in the non smoking casino. Still no luck.

Next trip is a rare weekend night scheduled for the 24 th.

Will probably achieve Ace level on that visit although it doesn’t seem to hold any tangible improvements to Crown.

Still , I can’t complain about FW. They treat me better than any AC casino and at least for now offer enough playable machines and benefits to make the 145 mile trip worthwhile.
