Upon further reflection, however, (it happens a lot at my age), it does seem at times that the system itself might be slow at updating. The last time I was there, I played for a while and thought I should have been around 10-12 points, but just had 6. But a while later, it jumped up to around 20, which is where I thought it should be. By the end of the night, I was definitely up to where I thought it was correct.
It may have something to do with how crowded it is and the activity levels. Once when I was there on
a very busy weekend when there was a show & a giveaway, for a while
when I inserted my card it said the system was unavailable and an attendant said it was a volume issue. It took a few minutes before it accepted my card in a normal way. Needless to say, with the high coin-in per point, I didn’t play until my card was recognized.

Yup, i pull/reinsert my card. It is probably my imagination, thanks for confirming that there is not some sort of downgrade.
