A few days ago I was playing at a bank of progressive 9/6 JOB
machines. The Royal was over 7000 coins, and each machine in the
bank was occupied. One guy a couple of seats over from me was
playing two machines when this rather scraggly looking man walks up
and asks if he can play one of the machines that the other man was
playing. The 2 machine player was nice enough to let the other man
have one of his machines. Mr. scraggly played maybe one or two hands
until he got a paying hand, and then he said "Oh darn, I wanted a
machine that has double up on it". He immediately cashed out and
walked away. The rest of us had a good laugh. I guess some people
just have different goals when they play. This guy apparently
couldn't care less about the level of the progressive, he just wanted
to get a machine that would let him double up.
