full pay vp accessible via monorail from Hilton?

Other than the off-strip choices (stations, sams, gvr, cannery, etc.)
it looks like what few choices there are in proximity to the strip all
seem to be on the other side of I-15 (Palms, Gold Coast, Orleans). I
don't remember seeing a pedestrian walkway that lets you cross over,
so the only way to get to that side is via motor vehicle, correct?

Well, if a wheel doesn't fall off in the next week, it looks like it

will be

running. So it's an even money bet;-) The bulk of FP VP on the

Strip is

jacks. There is some NSUD. Most is not positive without assigning

value to

comps or promotional opportunities -Though there are a few

exceptions. I

suggest you peruse the database for what interests you, but just off

the top

of my head:

Caesars has lots of JB in comfy slant tops (multi plays, 5 play MS,

and STP)

and $ NSUD with a good comp rate. IP, Harrah's, Paris, Bellagio and

others

offer $JB. If you are looking to play positive VP you can take a

Strip bus

In the event that the monorail is operational by New Years does anyone
know the stops closest to full pay vp assuming one boards at the
Hilton? Also, are there any full pay vp opportunities within walking
distance of the Hilton? I'm quite familiar with the Hilton vp
offerings ,but am not averse to a change of scenery if it involves
full pay vp. TIA (Thanks In Advance).

Yes, you most likely want transportation. It's a long walk. Free
transportation is available from the Barbary Coast area to the Gold
Coast and Orleans. You can get free transportation from Harrahs to the
Rio, and walk across the street to the Palms. Sam's Town also has free
shuttles to various parts of the Strip. Dick Mck.

Walking to GC, Palms or Orleans from the Strip is a pain in the ass. It can
be done, but I wouldn't recommend it. With the exception of downtown and
the Strip, LV is not pedestrian friendly. There are busses and shuttles,
however. A Coast shuttle from the Barbary Coast (center Strip) will get you
to Orleans or GC. It's free. Another alternative is the Harrah's shuttle
which gets you to Rio and walking distance to GC and Palms. Both shuttles
run frequently and late. If I were looking for a nice selection of positive
vp opportunities I would make my way downtown. One way to do this sans car:
The monorail gets you to the Strip and the Strip bus gets you downtown.
