Enough people with the same attitude and take the proper action would help. But until there underbelly is exposed to the knife, they don't think thats possible, they will continue to treat us like homeless pups.

Subject: [vpFREE] Full Pay Pick 'em
I love playing PE and truly mourn it's demise all over the place. In
late May of this year I went to the Fremont to play quarter PE before
it disappears. I was fortunate enough to hit a royal. I never
thought that I would see one of these in my lifetime. About 30
seconds after the special cards appeared, the lights went out -
literally. The power went out at the Fremont No one had come to
verify my royal and the place was totally dark. At least I had
captured a picture of it on my cell phone. No problem though. When
the emergency power came on the cards were still there and it didn't
take long for someone to come and acknowledge my hit. It did however
take quite awhile to get a refreshing adult beverage to quench my
thirst while I waited for the paper work to be completed by hand. It
took about an hour to get paid. It started to get mighty hot in
there! They did give me 3 extra "jackpot" t-shirts for my patience
though.
Part 2
We live about 20 minutes away from Seneca Niagara Casino in NYS.
Until April 2007 we hadn't played there for almost 4 years. The best
game there is $1 Pick 'em but I am not really a dollar player and the
gamemakers are almost always occupied, so I usually end up playing
quarter 7/5 BP, and I was actually dealt a royal on the BP just a
couple of weeks before our last Vega trip. That kind of set the mood
because the day we arrived at MSS I was dealt a royal on 8/5 BP
there. This was the day before the PE royal at the Fremont. Believe
me I am not accustomed to this sort of luck!
However this past Thursday we went to Seneca Niagara with our friends
for what was really just a social occasion, but of course I couldn't
resist playing. I had every intention of scouting and reporting back
to vpFREE, but that was not to be. When we arrived - about 2:30 pm -
there were 2 gamemakers available with the dollar pick'em. I grabbed
a machine that would not be open for long and decided to put in a
hundred and see what happened. Of course I lost it in about 20
minutes, but then I just had to put in another $50. After that I
couldn't lose. I had full house after flush after straight after
full house and 2 sets of quads. I cashed out over $1,900 after my
$150 investment. This is why I love PE.
We had an excellent dinner at the Steakhouse - $256 for 4 including 4
appetizers, one extra salad and $84 worth of wine and no 8.5% NYS and
county sales tax. Our friends had a free room for the night, but we
would have had to pay $235 so we passed, but we do have an offer for
free rooms in August based on our little play in April. The room was
very nice and had a spectacular view of Niagara Falls. We used to
scorn the local casinos here and chose to go to Vegas for the free
rooms and cheap air, but if they cut back anymore these local places
will become more and more attractive especially if they keep the
pick'em and 8/5 BP (in $.50 and dollars).
