My thoughts are that it sucks, and at best is a barely playable situation. I have also heard from my personal sources that the machines have already been all reset to the short pay version of pick-em. I will confirm this when I go up for a concert in a couple of weeks. If my information holds true, then Niagara falls will have the worst Video Poker in the province of Ontario, bad games with poor cash back and because you will have to play a minimum of double the dollars to earn a point, the comps will no doubt be reduced as well.
Possibly a good business move. Nobody with any clue whatsoever about VP will play a penny there, and the players that do play will be bucking a house edge that is about %1.5 on the best machines with perfect play and after counting cash back.

Full pay Pick-Em is back at casino Niagara and Fallsview
casino in Niagara Falls, Ca. In fact they now have 18 machines
at $1.00, 5-50 cent machines and 5-25 cent machines. Also there are 10 full pay machines at the dollar level at the fallsview casino. I am not sure about the 50-cent level. The requirements have been raised to $60 cash in for 1 point for any machine with pick-em on it and $40 cash in for one point for the $5.machines with no pick-em. $30 cash in is required for all video poker without pick-em 25 cent to $1.00, I believe. It still requires only $20 cash in for slots. I would love to hear your thoughts on this.
