There are several Casinos out here where half of the world
lives in trailer trash zones with bullet holes in the signs...
And the other half, in the nice areas are half gay/grey,
as the expression goes out here...
There is even one Casino that pays full odds on a 9/6
with only one coin! 800 pay on a Royal with one coin
is excellent, no?
Agua Caliente has 9/6 JOB in the $1.00 zone, full
pay on Royals are with 5 bets per hand.
The $0.25 zone has 8/5 JOB machines only.
Their buffet is really good and they give you $2.00
off with a player's club card.
St. Augustine Casino is over an hour further from me,
but they claim to have the 'loosest' VP machines in
town. Have to get adventurous and visit them.
Fantasy Springs Buffet looked like a Sizzler Buffet
with more land animal and less poultry, so not really
where I want to spend $20 a head for food.
FS does have a great promotion where they give you
$50 of slot money if you play $20.00 of action on
any machine with your card in.
So I played their $0.25 8/5 machine for 80 bets and
was up a few bucks. I played out until I was back
at exactly $20 and then went to the machines you
can play the $50 bonus on.
I won $56.xx and took it home.
Morongo Casino down here has two 9/6 machines
that are $0.25. The rest are not nearly as good, so
you have to find the right ones, of course.
Morongo also has one of the better buffets and
buffet deals. And, on the first day you sign up
for their Club Card, you get a free buffet.
Do it on Saturday or Sunday night as those are
the best and most expensive buffet days.
Cheapest are M-Th with under $10 lunch buffet
and not much more for dinner. They are kind
of finicky about giving you the $2.00 discount.
Each person has to have a card in their hand.
