Full-pay Dollar Pick'em Gone at Greektown

If you go to Greektown and want to play the dollar Pick'em
machines in their high-roller room, fogetaboutit! All the dollar
machines have been changed to the low-pay, rip-off kind. They still
have a lot of quarter machines scattered upstairs and downstairs,
and they do have full-pay $2, 5$, $10, and $25 ones, also in the
high-roller room. But to play those you will need at least a couple
grand bankroll in your pocket if you plan on playing awhile.
I visited all three casinos Thursday to cash in all my coupons
and cashbacks and that was the only changes I found.
I had a strange day. I got bored playing vp and kept popping
twenties in slot machines and won on them six out of seven times for
about $275.(all quarters) But I lost on every vp machine I played,
all day for a net loss of about $250.
So, the best games in town still are: quarter Pick'Em at
Greektown (99.9%), Quarter NSUD Progressive at Motor City,(99.7%)
and quarter 9/7/5 Double Bonus Progressive at MGM.(99.1%) There are
some other fair games at the $5 and up level, here and there, but I
can't afford it, nor do I have any friends who play at that level,
so what's the point of looking for them.

I was wrong! There are a couple dollar Game Maker machines with
Pick'Em on a carousal in the high-roller Parthanon Room upstairs.
One is low-pay, and the other is full-pay. I was there Monday and
hit two quads on a full-pay quarter machine and then hit a full
house on the dollar one, so I cashed out. I left $400 ahead for a
change. ( been in a slump lately)
