I'm fairly new to VP. I play 9/6 DDB, which I always assumed to be
considered as Full Pay. I have seen a lot of posts that there is a
10/7 version of DDB. Does this mean that 9/6 DDB isn't FP? The BDPW
version that I practice on is 9/6. What's up?

No... 9/6 is not full pay but 10/6 is a little over 100%. I think most pro's would consider 9/6 a non playable game. 9/6 and lower are possibly the most available versions found though. I'm not sure what's available in Vegas or where you play so you might check the vpfree database for that info. In my area, I've never seen 10/7 or 10/6. However, DDB is such a popular game due to the extra bonus payouts . Because of the strong presence of the 9/6 version, I'm guessing many players have requested info and strategies for 9/6 DDB and that's why Mr. Dancer and others have covered 9/6 DDB even though it is not a positive game. With 9/6 DDB using the perfect strategy the return is 98.98%. 9/6 JOB is about 99.54% ....if you like playing JOB.

There's plenty of 10-6-40 DDB, a relatively new IGT paytable (about 2
years old)around. IGT shaved 10 coins off the SF so "100%"
jurisdictions could offer the full pay version of the game. I think
all Stations properties offer 100.06 10-6 DDB up to dollars. It's a
relatively simple game to learn and play, as opposed to 10-7 DB which
is found on many machines which offer 10-6 DDB. Given a choice, I'd
prefer the 10-7 DB, better EV, lower variance, but it's also more
difficult to learn.

You are absolutely correct. 10/6 DDb is at every Station and Fiesta
machine. All the other casinos have 9/6. The 10/7 referred to is not
DDB but DB and has a different strategy. I hope the player knows what
he wants to play before putting money into the machine.
