Haven't had much time to go on gambling junkets lately but wanted to share a
good experience that I had recently.
Due to time constraints, I often have to play multi-line machines to get the
play in at places which have stiff play requirements. In many places, it's
getting so that the best game left on multi-line machines is Bonus Poker, a
game which I seldom played.
Ran the strategy for Bonus Poker on Frugal VP & was pleased that the learning
curve was a lot less due to the abbreviated strategy (33 lines vs 66 for my
old strategy card). I create my own strategy cards around the framework of
others (VPSM, Frugal VP) & leave off the obvious & sometimes insert a line or
two that I think is necessary so the line counts won't jive with what you
see.
Afterwards, I practiced using the strategy & found that I could pick it up
very quickly as there is less to memorize. Had most of it in half an hour.
Normally it would have taken at least 3 times as much time on the old card.
Don't recommend Bonus Poker as a game to play as there's usually something
better in most places. Just using this as an example when you have to learn a
new game.
