In Jean Scott's Frugal Friday she said "we could us our reward credits
on a l to 1 basis to refund our plane ticket expense". In the Total
Reward Catalog I do see that you can use 50,000 reward credits per
person for airfare to any Total Rewards casino - but if your ticket is
say $350.00 - does she mean we only have to use 35,000 reward credits?
The 50,000 credits would equal a $500.00 plane ticket. I would love to
save the extra reward credits if the flight is cheaper than $500.
Thanks in advance for any help with this.

Actually I don't know the answer to this question because we did it a little differently. We originally bought our tickets (using Station points but that didn't show up on our e-tickets) and then we asked our Bally's AC host if we could use our Reward Credits to get our airfare refunded. That would be a better deal than doing it in advance if your airfare was less than $500. However, I don't know if you have to be at a higher level to get the airfare refund after the fact and I also don't know if every Harrah's casino does this.
