Hi, just finished ready this Fridays column. Wanted to add my
enjoyment of your granddaughter's 2 columns. I read them to my husband
and said how she captured the true fun of your frugal use of comps,
gift shopping and eating out. Coming from Ohio, raised by depression
parents, I too love a good bargain. Like some of the TR's, it makes
us "can't wait" to get to Las Vegas for vacation and try to mimick
these tips. Everyone keep up the interesting, helpful articles!

I am glad you liked the articles I wrote. I really enjoy the fact that I get to stay with someone that can do so many activities free!
Our family went to quite a few shows while we were here. The Blue Man Group was comped and that was worth over seven hundred dollars for all six of us! It was a fun show to watch. I love the way they scatter streamers all over the place!!
We also went to the Mac King Comedy Magic Show at Harrahs. The magic tricks were traditional but he made them funny!!! This show wasn't able to be comped but Grandma got coupons for it so it was still frugal. We also got something called a Passport which was comped to do all the attractions at the Luxor. I thought they were all fun especially the Imax Filmrides. The Passport also included a trip to Mandalay Bay to see the Shark Reef! That was amazing!!!
Grandma and Poppy Tom got free tickets for Mom and Dad to see both Elton John and Carrot Top!! They are so lucky!!! ( I use a lot of explanation points just like my Grandma.)

while a catchy phase, is incorrect so i'm lowering her overall score

Oops, I forgot to tell her to change that to Poppy Brad. Tom is what Brad is called by people who knew him before Jean and Brad Scott were "created." Thomas is his real first name and Bradley is his middle name.
