Is this the place they call the 'New Frontier', and if so, what's new
about it?
Yes, and nothing. Was the Last Frontier, the second hotel on the strip
opening in 1942. Became New Frontier in 1955, then name was changed again
to Frontier in 1967. In 1999 Ruffin changed the name back to New Frontier.
It may or may not be torn down at some point to build a San Francisco themed
place.
