Based on information from various sources, here's my understanding of
the situation for those advantage players who did not receive a March
mailing. If you continue to play the Optimum machines exclusively,
any points you earn will still accrue to your account (at $4 per
point) but you will be treated as if you had zero play for those
benefits which are "play" related.
Points can still be used to attain or maintain your card level and
can be used for meals, etc. Your status level, which is a measure of
recent play, is now blank.
Here's how your Rewards schedule looks for Platinum & President level
card holders:
Gift Shop Cash Discount - Yes
Private Gated Parking - ???
Buffet Point Discounts - Yes
Priority Room Reservations - ???
